CIRCUIT FEED WATER
The water collected from wells, rivers or lakes has to be filtrated in order to retain the gross suspended solids. When we treat well water with high content of sand a centrifugal separator AHC can be used. It retains 90% of the solids that are bigger than 50 microns. Otherwise we use our automatic filters AVC, with a filtration degree that ranges between 25 and 100 microns.
In case of river or lake water, besides the AVC filters we advise to use the ABV filters. These are particularly suitable when suspended solids of bigger dimensions con be found in the water (pebbles, leaves or other gross material).
APPLICATION SCHEMES
River / lake waters can contain a high TSS content,
therefore in the first stage an ABV filter (200 ÷ 100µm) is generally used, capable of evacuating even large solids without the need to use a prefilter.
In the case of taking water directly from the sea, there may be many TSS in the water.
The most suitable filter is the ABV model (200 ÷ 100µm) capable of separating large quantities of contaminants, even large ones.
The band filter (ABF) can be used as a polishing unit after sand filtration.
In these cases the filter can ensure filtration up to 15µm.
